Qi means energy. Gong means work, movement, exercise. Qi Gong literally means “working with the life energy”.

Qi Gong has developed from a 4-5000 year old system of movements, breathing exercises and meditation which aims to develop and improve the circulation of the body’s life energy. By working with the body’s energy field Qi Gong is said to help the body and soul work in harmony at the optimum level, increase vitality and strengthen your body’s ability to heal itself.

Qi Gong can give a sense of warmth, awareness and nearness. A daily session of Qi Gong gives you time to be still, teaches you to listen to your inner self and deal with your stress levels at the same time.
